PRESIDENT

Brother Morales is a Junior from Rosenberg, Texas majoring in Business. As one of the most active students on campus, he is a member of numerous organizations and serves as the Membership Chair of Student Foundation and a member of the Catholic Student Association. He currently works on campus as the Lead Ambassador in the Office of Admissions. Damien has gained a well rounded experience within the chapter by serving as the Philanthropy Chairman, Campus Involvement Chairman, Public Relations Chairman, Houston Rush Captain, Receivables Chairman, and Vice President of Membership Development. He has successfully represented AO PIKEs by serving in the IFC since April 2022–1 term as Treasurer–and in the Greek Coalition since the Fall 2022. He credits this success to his impactful experiences from attending the PikeU Leadership Summit in Dallas, TX (twice), and the PikeU International Convention in Louisville, KY, the PikeU Chapter Executives Conference in Memphis, TN (twice), and the PikeU Leadership Academy in Memphis, TN where he received Gold Certification from PIKE MHQ.

Brother Parrish is a junior from Garland, Texas majoring in Business with minors in Kinesiology and Communication Studies. He is known for his impressive performance on the Track and Field team as well as his leadership in the Business Club and the Exercise Is Medicine Club. After a successful year as both Alumni Chair and Sergeant at Arms, and now Internal Vice President.

Brother Diaz Cuervo is a Sophomore from Mexico City majoring in Business and Economics. Jorge is part of AO’23 class and since he joined this brotherhood he has been highly involved within the fraternity and around the campus. Jorge previously held the position of Virtual Learning Captain. He serves as one of our IFC delegates, as well as being part of various organizations such as Southwestern Student Foundation, serving as their Vice Chair. Jorge has also been an outstanding scholar, with the achievement of studying abroad at the London School of Economics.  In 2023, Brother Diaz Cuervo was elected as External Vice President of Pi Kappa Alpha and he is committed to maintain the fraternity’s excellence within his role.

Brother Campana is a Junior from Austin, Texas majoring in Business. He is a member of the Lacrosse team and an Eagle Scout. Ben was initiated in the Fall of 2022 and has priorly held the positions of Alumni Chair and New Member Educator.

 Brother Sowell is a junior from Houston, Texas majoring in both Biology and Spanish. He is a member of the lacrosse team here on campus and works as a teaching assistant in the biology department. Brother Sowell stepped up to take on the role of philanthropy chair where his hard work and leadership is sure to shine.

Brother Durand is a junior from Dallas, Texas double majoring in Business and Economics. He is a member of the SU Wind Ensemble and before joining Pike, Carter captained an intramural team and won a championship in singles tennis.  Fall 2022 initiate, Campus Involvement Chair was his first position in the fraternity.

Brother Renninger is a sophomore from Seattle Washington, I am part of the swim team here at Southwestern University and outside of school, I help volunteer at the City of Georgetown Animal Shelter.

Senior Brother Thompson is from Houston, Texas who initiated in the Fall of 2022. He is majoring in Psychology with a minor in Spanish. Gus is a member of the Lacrosse team and often serves as an acolyte, assisting in his church’s services. He is looking forward to holding a position for the first time as both Historian and Secretary.

Brother Ortiz is a Senior from Houston, Texas majoring in Financial Economics with minors in Data Science and Spanish. Sebastian is active on campus as a member of the Swimming & Diving team, an officer in the Business Club, and a representative in Student Government. While in Pike, Sebastian has served as Treasurer and will remain on the finance committee in addition to managing the House.

Brotherhood

Brother Joslin is a business major at Southwestern University, he started with lacrosse, a main reason for coming to SU. Though his days on the field are over, it allowed him to start a business with two fellow brothers. Serving as brotherhood chair, he cherishes the moments of connection, whether it’s cheering for his brothers’ team or simply hanging out. In his room, music fills the air, providing a backdrop for reflection and inspiration. “You can always find four to five people in there at a time. It’s these simple joys and shared experiences that shape a great brotherhood.”

Brother Leblanc is a junior from Baton Rouge, Louisiana majoring in Business with minors in Psychology and Communication Studies. Logan is a well respected member of the Lacrosse team and immediately established himself as a leader in Pike. As Recruitment Chair, Logan directed two highly successful Rush efforts in 2022, and he was instrumental in the Spring Crawfish Boil for the Boys and Girls Club. As he continues in his capacity as Recruitment Chair and steps into another important role as Public Relations, Logan will continue to build his legacy of service within the fraternity.

Brother Peesker is a Junior from Toronto, Canada majoring in Economics with minors in Data Science and Business. Working as the Principles of Economics tutor at SU and interning at Jolera, a tech company in Canada, have prepared Matthew well for this position. Additionally, Matthew is a member of the Golf team, which earned a conference championship last year, and he is active in the Business Club.
